Job summary

JAPFA Group in Indonesia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, plan and execute preventative maintenance for all machinery and facilities, and rapidly respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial), with at least 5 years in maintenance and 2 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing or agricultural processing; CMMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance, with at least 2 years in supervision, preferably in manufacturing/agri processing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility maintenance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with CMMS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventative maintenance programs for all machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance needs.
• Implement and monitor maintenance budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and other departments to optimize equipment performance and support overall business objectives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
