Job summary

PT THE JANNAH PROJECT (Jannah Restaurant) is seeking a maintenance/engineering professional to ensure the smooth operation of all restaurant facilities. You will manage electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment upkeep, and coordinate with contractors for major repairs.

Located in Bali, the role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, an engineering background, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. A hands-on, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• Educational background in Electricity, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Proficient with electrical systems, plumbing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Basic carpentry, painting, and general building repair skills.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Residence in Bali and willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all restaurant facilities, electrical systems, and plumbing are functioning properly.
• Perform regular maintenance on kitchen equipment and AC units.
• Handle general repairs for the building, furniture, and fixtures.
• Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for major repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop and tool inventory.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Relevant educational background in Electricity, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC), plumbing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Basic skills in carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
• Honest, disciplined, and proactive in identifying potential facility issues.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency calls if needed.
• Currently residing in Bali.
