Job summary

Smart Infrastructure in Jakarta is seeking an LV Electrical Design Engineer to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings and develop GA layouts for LV switchgear, MCCs, and distribution panels. You will produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits using ELCAD and/or EPLAN, ensure IEC 61439/IEC 60364 compliance, and manage drawing revision control.

Collaborate with LV Front Engineers to align with project requirements and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in LV electrical design and drawing preparation.
• Proven ability to create GA, SLD, schematic and assembly drawings.
• Background in industrial, power distribution, or manufacturing projects.

You’ll create impact by

Work closely with LV Front Engineers to understand design requirements and specifications

Translate design concepts and specifications into accurate technical drawings

Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings for LV switchgear, MCCs, and distribution panels

Produce detailed schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control circuits

Develop layout drawings and panel arrangement diagrams

Maintain drawing revision control and documentation management

Ensure all drawings align with project requirements and customer specifications

Utilize ELCAD and/or EPLAN to create high-quality electrical drawings

Ensure all drawings comply with IEC 61439, IEC 60364, and relevant standards

• 1-5 years of experience in LV electrical design and engineering drawing preparation
• Proven experience in creating GA, SLD, schematic, and assembly drawings
• Background in industrial, power distribution, or manufacturing projects
• Proficiency in ELCAD and/or EPLAN - Expert level in creating electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of LV switchgear components and systems (up to 1000V)
• Understanding of LV distribution panels, MCCs, and control circuits
• Familiarity with LV protection devices (circuit breakers, contactors, relays, meters)
• Knowledge of IEC 61439, IEC 60364, and related LV standards
• Basic understanding of electrical calculations (load flow, cable sizing, short circuit)
