Job summary

PT Siemens Indonesia is seeking an Application Engineer for MV/LV switchgear to design and optimize medium- and low-voltage systems. You will prepare system designs, select components, and collaborate to resolve technical issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, familiarity with design software, leadership and English proficiency. You will work in a team and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Application Engineer for MV/LV Switchgear

You’ll create impact by:

• Prepare System Designs: Create medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) system designs and project concepts, including IED parameterization, adhering to Siemens standards.
• Optimize Component Selection: Propose and optimize components used in the design.
• Collaborate on Technical Issues: Work with the team to resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Maintain Project Schedule: Keep track of and maintain project and engineering schedule milestones

Your defining qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge & understanding on electrical system design for LV & MV switchgear both theoretical & practical.
• Familiar with electrical engineering design software/tools
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skill, adaptive and able to work in team
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good proficiency in English
