Job summary

PT. Soechi Lines Tbk is seeking a Crewing Officer responsible for scouting, selecting and processing suitable crew for LPG-Tanker vessels.

The role requires coordinating documents such as seaman books, passports, certificates, and medical checkups, and ensuring every candidate meets STCW 2010 standards. The position involves reporting crewing activities, reviewing manpower planning for the deck department, and handling additional orders from the Crewing Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor in maritime studies.
• 3+ years in crew recruitment, preferably LPG-Tanker crew.
• Experience in manning agencies is a plus.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, scouting and selecting crew based on vessel requirement.
• Make register and register application documents of crew candidates including seaman book, passport, certificates, and medical checkups.
• Send crew candidate data with competency to Marine/Technical Superintendent and assist in ensuring all documents are valid per STCW 2010.
• Make reports on crewing and recruitment activities (numbers recruited and resigned; vessels and crew levels).
• Review manpower planning for Deck Department and follow up on crew promotions.
• Cover any additional job orders as instructed by Crewing Manager.
