Job summary

PT. BUWON INDONESIA, a chemical and shoe parts manufacturer, is seeking a Compliance Officer. You will lead the QC team, drive ISO and internal audits, and ensure product quality. English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency, strong reporting skills, and 5+ years in manufacturing compliance are required.

You will implement corrective actions, manage audit plans, and ensure brand compliance for international footwear partners. Based in Indonesia, the role focuses on quality oversight and process control.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a environmental science degree and AK3 certificate.
• Minimum 5 years as Compliance Officer in manufacturing or chemical fields.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.
• Capable of preparing reports with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proficient in statistical quality methods and data analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership with responsibility in teams.
• Knowledge of ISO audits and footwear brand audit standards.
• Experience with ISO Internal audits and SNI compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QC Engineers in daily activities per standards.
• Control processes and act as quality judge for defects.
• Prepare budgets and action plans for quality initiatives.
• Implement corrective actions for production defects.
• Conduct ISO internal audits and ensure compliance with SNI and brands.
• Analyze and improve internal manufacturing quality levels.
• Plan line and product audits and inspection plans.
• Perform root cause analysis for market claims related to quality.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experienceas a Compliance Officer in Manufacturing field or Chemical Industry.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Capable of creating report materials using PowerPoint and Excel, and able to deliver presentations.
• Proficient in conducting analysis using statistical quality methods.
• Strong leadership skills with a high sense of responsibility.
• Basic knowledge of ISO Audit and International Footwear Brands Audit.

Responsibilities:
