Job summary

PT General Adjuster Indonesia seeks a Loss Adjuster Mechanical, Heavy Equipment Engineering to investigate incidents across Indonesia, conduct site surveys, evaluate claims, and prepare reports. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Heavy Equipment Engineering, at least 3 years in related fields, and strong knowledge of heavy equipment.

Travel nationwide is expected; office located in Cipondoh, Tangerang.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical, heavy equipment engineering, equipment inspection, or loss adjusting.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment and machine/unit products.
• Ability to investigate complex mechanical failures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English.
• Certifications in loss adjusting or mechanical engineering are highly desirable.
• Willing to travel throughout Indonesia, office in Cipondoh, Tangerang.

Responsibilities

• Investigate mechanical/heavy-equipment incidents across Indonesia, site surveys, evaluate claims and prepare reports.
• Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings, photographic evidence, and calculate loss adjustment.
• Analyse the mechanisms of mechanical failure and distinguish between insurable and non-insurable losses.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Engineering

At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical, heavy equipment engineering, equipment inspection, or loss adjusting

Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment and type of machine/unit products

Have the ability to investigate complex mechanical failures

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English

Professional certifications in loss adjusting or mechanical engineering are highly desirable

Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously

Willing to travel throughout Indonesia

Office in Cipondoh, Tangerang
