Job summary

C&D Inc. in Indonesia is seeking a Logistics Vendor Sourcing Specialist to identify and develop logistics vendors, build a vendor database, and coordinate with internal teams to support logistics growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Logistics or related field and 1–3 years in logistics or vendor sourcing, with strong English and Mandarin as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or other related fields.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation, vendor sourcing, or business development is preferred.
• Good command of English; ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and develop potential logistics vendors including trucking, freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouses, and customs clearance providers.
• Conduct field visits to evaluate facilities, capabilities, coverage, pricing, and reliability.
• Build and maintain an updated vendor database with profiles, coverage, pricing, and evaluation results.
• Collect and compare quotations, rates, service levels, lead times, and capabilities from different vendors.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities in logistics and supply chain.

Job description

• Identify, source, and develop potential logistics vendors, including trucking companies, freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouses, customs clearance providers, and other logistics service providers
• Conduct field visits and surveys to logistics vendors to evaluate their facilities, operational capabilities, fleet capacity, service coverage, pricing, service quality, and reliability.
• Build and maintain an updated logistics vendor database, including vendor profiles, service coverage, pricing, capacity, PIC information, and evaluation results.
• Collect and compare quotations, transportation rates, service levels, lead times, and operational capabilities from different logistics vendors
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector.
• Coordinate with internal Sales, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant departments to support logistics business development activities.
• Perform other logistics and business development duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or other related fields
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation, vendor sourcing, or business development is preferred.
