Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Logistics & Freight Forwarding Associate to help shape sales and marketing strategies by collecting and analyzing market data. You will communicate with customers, prepare cost estimates, and maintain promotional materials while building strong relationships with clients across Indonesia.

A degree and at least one year of logistics experience are required, with teamwork and analytical skills valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Highly motivated and target-oriented to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze market data and trends to assist in development of sales and marketing strategies.
• Communicate with customers to answer customer’s questions, provide information, and evaluate their needs.
• Manage marketing content, including advertising materials, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Availability of cost estimation data for customer needs.
• Availability of data for preparing weekly sales activity reports.
• Availability of data for building the prospect customer database.
• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department’s work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
