The Logistics Cordinator is responsible for executing warehousing and transportation operations in compliance to the company standard to ensure excellent customer service level, accurate inventory, and efficient logistic cost. This role works closely with Warehouse Operations, Transport Vendors, Customer Service, Commercial, Finance, and other Supply Chain functions to achieve company’s objectives.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Transportation Operations
- Managing daily warehouse and transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Assuring logistics execution against service level agreements (SLA) and operational KPIs.
- Coordinating warehouse teams and transportation vendors to deliver SLA and preventing service disruptions.
- Proactive in logistic infrastructure capacity and operational readiness planning to meet business requirements.
Logistics Performance & Cost Analysis
- Analyze logistics performance, transportation costs, warehouse productivity, and end-to-end logistic around time to identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage regular reports and dashboards covering service, cost, utilization, inventory, and operational performance.
- Control logistics spending and drive productivity agenda.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision making.
3PL & Vendor Management
- Control third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transportation vendors performance against agreed KPIs.
- Conduct performance reviews and drive corrective actions to address service gaps.
- Lead continuous improvement programs with logistics partners to enhance service level and productivity.
- Enforce vendors’ compliances to all company policies, contractual requirements, and operational standards.
Logistics Control & Compliance
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of logistics-related transactions and documentation, including Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), invoices, and operational records.
- Ensure logistics processes comply with company policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Support inventory reconciliation, stock movement validation, and warehouse control activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting records for audit readiness.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with the relevant functions within the organization to support business priorities and operational execution.
- Proactive in escalating operational risks and provide recommendations for mitigation actions.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Lead logistics projects, process optimization initiatives, and system improvements.
- Lead in warehouse and transportation improvement programs focused on service, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures across logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Logistics: Warehousing & Transportation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and cost data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems SAP.
- Familiar with logistic system: WMS & TMS.
- Had working experience with 3PL providers and transportation vendors is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
