Job summary

XY Illumination is seeking a Lighting Project Specialist to support our Sales & Project Manager and help prepare, coordinate, and follow up architectural lighting projects in Jakarta.

This role requires reading architectural drawings, coordinating with design and procurement teams, and ensuring documentation is accurate. Proficiency in AutoCAD and some Dialux is preferred, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in lighting, architecture, or construction projects.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, interior, and lighting drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Dialux knowledge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, interior, and lighting drawings to ensure project accuracy.
• Review lighting layouts and fixture positions to meet project requirements.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, product selections, and project documents for management review.
• Coordinate information with sales, design, engineering, quotation, and procurement teams.
• Maintain project progress and actions in Monday.com.
• Support meetings with clients and consultants and document follow-up actions.

Lighting Project Specialist – Architectural Lighting Solutions

XY Illumination is an architectural lighting solutions company supplying carefully selected lighting products for residential, hospitality, and commercial construction projects across Indonesia.

We work closely with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, consultants, contractors, and project owners to deliver lighting solutions from design development through procurement and project execution.

We are looking for a Lighting Project Specialist to support our Sales & Project Manager and help prepare, coordinate, and follow up our architectural lighting projects.

This is a technical and project-focused role for someone who is comfortable working with architectural drawings, lighting layouts, project documentation, and design coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural, interior, and lighting drawings.

Review lighting layouts, fixture positions, and project requirements.

Identify missing or unclear technical information before client submission.

Prepare drawings, specifications, product selections, and project documents for management review.

Accompany the Sales & Operations Manager to selected client and consultant meetings and prepare clear meeting notes and follow-up actions.

Coordinate project information with sales, design, engineering, quotation, and procurement teams.

Follow up on drawings, approvals, quotations, samples, and outstanding project information.

Maintain project progress and next actions in Monday.com.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in lighting, architecture, interior design, electrical/MEP, or construction projects.

Able to read and understand architectural, interior, and lighting drawings.

Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drawing software.

DIALux or lighting calculation experience is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.

Good spoken and written English.

University Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a related field.
