PT OOGALAXY GROUP INDONESIA seeks an experienced legal professional to support daily compliance and commercial contracting. The role covers cross-border investment, M&A, and regulatory licensing with a focus on Indonesia and China coordination.

The ideal candidate brings 2–7 years for Counsel or 8+ years for Senior Counsel, a law degree, and fluent English; Mandarin is highly preferred for HK/China communications. A dynamic, international environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Advocate Identification Card (KTPA) and BAS at the High Court.
• Legal Counsel: 2–7 years of relevant experience; Senior Counsel: 8+ years of experience.
• Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) or higher from a reputable university.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency (professional level) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily legal and compliance affairs, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and opinions.
• Provide Indonesian legal support for cross-border investments, M&A, and licensing.
• Coordinate bilingual documents and interpretation for China-Indonesia projects.
• Monitor laws and regulations; prepare in-depth legal research and reports.
• Liaise with partner law firms in China and Indonesia and with corporate clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Operational Legal Support: Handle daily legal and compliance affairs for the company and its clients, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and issuing formal legal opinions.
• Project Execution: Provide comprehensive Indonesian legal support for cross-border investment (FDI/ODI), M&A, company incorporation, and various regulatory licensing/permit applications.
• Bilingual Coordination: Act as a communication bridge for China-Indonesia projects, including meeting interpretation and the drafting/translation of bilingual legal documents (Chinese/English/Indonesian).
• Legal Research: Monitor the latest Indonesian laws, regulations, and policy updates; assist in preparing in-depth legal research and compliance reports.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Manage daily communication and coordination with partner law firms (in China and Indonesia) and maintain professional relationships with corporate clients.

II. Requirements

• Professional Credentials: Must hold a valid Advocate Identification Card (KTPA) and have officially completed the Minutes of Sworn Oath (BAS) at the High Court.
• Professional Experience:
  • Legal Counsel: 2–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior Counsel: 8+ years of experience (background in top-tier law firms or international consulting firms is highly preferred).
• Education: Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) or higher from a reputable university.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (Professional Level) is strongly preferred to facilitate high-frequency business communication with our Hong Kong Headquarters and Chinese corporate clients.
• Competency: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide legally sound and commercially viable solutions.
