Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Hukum), with possible MH/LL.M. and PERADI licence.
• 10–12 years of corporate legal experience, incl. 3–5 years in management
• Public company or top-tier law firm with IPO experience; strong governance/regulatory background

Responsibilities

• Lead IPO preparations with OJK/BEI compliance
• Manage RUPS, regulatory reporting, and GCG implementation
• Draft and negotiate strategic agreements; counsel management and board
• Build relations with OJK, BEI, external advisers; ensure compliance

Job description

The Legal Manager - IPO Execution role at a leading sports entertainment company focused on empowering young talent through competitive sports provides an opportunity to lead the organisation’s legal, governance, and regulatory functions while supporting its strategic growth initiatives. The role oversees corporate legal matters, Initial Public Offering (IPO) readiness, regulatory compliance, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) initiatives. Acting as a strategic legal adviser to management, the role will manage relationships with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), and external legal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate legal risks, and support the company’s transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPO preparations and ensure compliance with OJK, BEI, and capital market regulations
• Manage General Meetings of Shareholders (RUPS), regulatory reporting, and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)
• Establish compliance frameworks, identify legal risks, and drive risk-mitigation strategies
• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic agreements while providing legal counsel to management and the board of directors
• Build and maintain relationships with OJK, BEI, external legal advisers, and other key regulatory stakeholders
• Safeguard intellectual property rights (HAKI) and protect the company’s legal and commercial interests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Hukum), preferably supported by a Master of Law (MH), Master of Notarial Law, or Master of Laws (LL.M.), with an active Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) licence
• 10 to 12 years of corporate legal experience, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial capacity
• Proven experience with a public company (Tbk) or top-tier corporate law firm, with hands‑on involvement in IPO preparation and execution
• Strong expertise in corporate administration, including RUPS, OJK reporting, corporate actions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
• Additional advantages include Corporate Secretary certification, experience in corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, and exposure to the sports, media, or retail industry
