Job summary

RevoU, a leading Indonesian edtech, seeks a Learning Designer to redefine how students learn with AI. You will research program needs, collaborate with instructors, and maintain the learning platform while updating curricula across existing and new programs.

You will own workflows, content development, and automation, delivering measurable outcomes each month in a fast-paced hybrid Jakarta office environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build the workflows and tools that run learning operations and improve them as we learn.
• Research the market for each program, including employer needs and AI-driven role changes.
• Be the main contact for instructors, experts and mentors to keep content on schedule.
• Turn module outlines into ready-to-use materials like decks, guides and activities with gaps addressed.
• Run the learning platform day-to-day, upload content, set up cohorts and build automations.
• Update existing programs based on learner performance and help launch new ones.

About the Role

RevoU is one of the most recognizable brands in career education in Indonesia, with one of the largest learning audiences and co-branded programs with top universities. We also partner with leading enterprises across Indonesia to drive AI transformation and enablement across their workforces.

That brand, distribution and trust is our foundation. We are now using it to re-engineer how our students learn and get supported in the age of AI.

AI is changing what people need to learn, and how they learn it, faster than education has ever had to move. We want RevoU to be one of the places that shows how learning can change for the better, for the students in our programs.

We are hiring a Learning Designer to push this forward. You will cover a lot of ground. That means researching what each field now asks of its people, working with the experts who teach in our programs, keeping our learning platform running day to day, and updating and building parts of the curriculum for both our existing programs and our new ones. AI runs through how we work here, from researching a field to structuring what experts tell us, reading learner data and keeping our platform running, and you will push that further every month.

On pace: we move faster than most education companies, edtechs included, and we are still speeding up. You will own real outcomes in your first month, often without a complete brief, and we expect you to push us faster. If you are looking for a large team with a long and stable production process, this is not the right role for you.

What you will own:

• Building the workflows and tools that run our learning operations, and improving them as we learn what works.

• Researching the market for each program, from what employers ask for to how roles are changing with AI.

• Being the main point of contact for the instructors, experts and mentors behind our programs, keeping content on schedule and clearing whatever is blocking it.

• Turning module outlines into ready-to-use materials such as lecture decks, instructor guides and learning activities, with every piece reviewed and checked for gaps before it reaches students.

• Running our learning platform day to day, including content uploads, cohort set-up and fixing what breaks, and building the automations that take more of it off our hands every month.

• Updating existing programs based on how learners performed and what they told us, and building parts of new programs side by side with the team that launches them.

Please note: this is a hybrid role, that requires WFO from our Jakarta office.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• You want to build something special. You want to help transform how learners learn in the age of AI, and to establish yourself as one of the leading learning design experts in Indonesia.

• You build things. You have made workflows, tools or small products with AI that other people use, and you keep making them better.

• You are versatile. One day it is market research, the next it is a platform bug or an expert who is hard to pin down, and you learn what you need as you go.

• AI is already how you work. You build automations and reusable setups for the repetitive parts of your work, and you have a good sense of where AI helps and where it gets in the way. "I'm excited about AI" is not enough.

• You care how people learn. You write clearly and can explain a hard idea in plain words.

• You hold a high bar. "Good enough" bothers you, and you can name something you made that you weren't happy with and what you changed afterwards.

• You do a task once and then automate it. If something repeats, you build the system for it yourself, and you like doing it.

• You pick up the work that nobody owns because it needs doing, and you can point to something you fixed that nobody asked you to fix.

• High agency and fast. You find the problem and move on it without waiting for a complete brief, and following how AI is changing work is part of your daily routine.

Nice to have:

• Experience as a learning or instructional designer, especially if the way you work has changed a lot in the last year or two.

• Experience in edtech, university programs, bootcamps or corporate L&D, or as a teacher.

• Comfort with spreadsheets, no-code tools or code.
