Job summary

PT.Kencana Garment Indonesia is seeking a Sewing Leader to oversee daily sewing production, assign tasks, and ensure production plans are completed on schedule. You will monitor operator efficiency and quality, guide method improvements, and coordinate with IE, QC, and Supervisors to boost progress and maintain 5S discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in sewing leadership or related management within garment manufacturing; strong team and communication skills; able to work under production

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Sewing Leader or related management role in garment manufacturing.
• Experience with garment sewing techniques and production processes.
• Strong team management, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Ability to independently resolve production issues related to efficiency and quality.
• Conscientious, responsible, proactive, and able to work under production pressure.

Job description

Lead and manage the daily operations of the sewing production line, arranging employee work assignments and ensuring production plans are completed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the sewing department and organize task allocation to ensure production targets are met

Monitor employee work efficiency and product quality, and promptly address issues that arise during production

Guide operators in work methods to improve productivity and product quality

Coordinate with IE, QC, and Production Supervisor to improve production progress, quality, and efficiency

Oversee 5S implementation and employee discipline in the work area

About you

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sewing Leader or in related management positions in the garment industry

Familiar with garment sewing techniques and production processes

Strong team management, communication, and coordination abilities

Able to independently resolve common production issues related to efficiency and quality

Conscientious, responsible, proactive, and able to work under production pressure
