Job summary

Midnite is seeking a Head of Sportsbook Performance to own margin optimisation and drive structured improvements across pricing, limits, promotions, and platform configuration. The role sits at the heart of trading, product, and commercial decisions to maximize profitability.

You will partner with Risk, Commercial, and Engineering to implement measurable improvements, establish governance, and lead a Trading Quant.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in sportsbook trading or performance roles.
• Strong understanding of margin drivers and optimisation levers.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial impact.

Responsibilities

• Own sportsbook margin performance and optimisation initiatives.
• Diagnose leakage across cohorts, markets, and products.
• Define and prioritise a margin optimisation roadmap.
• Review pricing, limits, and stake factor frameworks.
• Assess and optimise promotional and generosity mechanics.
• Partner with Risk, Commercial, and Product teams to implement improvements.
• Establish performance reporting and governance frameworks.
• Manage and develop a Trading Quant.
• Define tooling and platform improvements with Engineering.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve workflows.
