Job summary

EDTS is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, build production-grade Kubernetes clusters, and lead CI/CD modernization across teams.

You will implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, enforce DevSecOps, monitor performance, optimize costs, mentor engineers, and drive incident response and RCA for critical outages, in Jakarta on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
• 2-3 years in a Senior or Lead role.
• Proven experience managing production environments and high-availability infrastructures.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS and GCP. Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, self-managed). Docker. IaC with Terraform and Ansible. CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins. Linux administration. Networking fundamentals.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenSearch.
• Scripting: Bash and Python. Git and GitOps with Argo CD.
• Design and manage scalable, secure, highly available cloud infra.
• Build and operate production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC. Troubleshoot across cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and deployments.
• DevSecOps practices: IAM, Secrets Management, container security.
• Lead DevOps practices, incident response, RCA, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of Istio / Cilium, Chaos Engineering, Crossplane; AI-powered developer tools familiarity.

Job description

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support business and operational requirements
• Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes platforms for production environments, ensuring scalability, high availability, and reliability
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and reliable application deployments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management
• Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance tuning for cloud infrastructure, applications, and platforms

• Lead incident response, problem management, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents to drive continuous improvement
• Create and maintain technical documentation, platform standards, and DevOps best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
