Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) in Jakarta is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to provide technical mentorship to site engineers and junior project team members, strengthening civil engineering and project delivery practices across building, infrastructure and data centre sectors.

You will develop and maintain detailed civil works programmes, coordinate interfaces between disciplines to prevent clashes, deputise for the Project Manager in daily planning, and help elevate delivery standards through

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed civil works programmes, method statements, and site logistics plans aligned with the overall project schedule
• Deputise for the Project Manager in day-to-day project planning and coordination meetings, ensuring continuity of delivery oversight
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to prevent design and construction clashes, particularly critical in data centre fit-out sequencing

Job description
