The role also provides technical mentorship to site engineers and junior project team members, and contributes to strengthening the organisation's civil engineering and project delivery practices, tools, and standards across the building, infrastructure, and data centre sectors. The Lead Civil Engineer / Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in translating client requirements into structured, executable project plans, with particular focus on the civil, structural, and site works elements of building, infrastructure, and data centre projects. This includes developing detailed civil works programmes, sequencing activities, and coordinating interfaces between design, procurement, and construction, such as: Develop and maintain detailed civil works programmes, method statements, and site logistics plans aligned with the overall project schedule. Deputise for the Project Manager in day-to-day project planning and coordination meetings, ensuring continuity of delivery oversight, coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to prevent design and construction clashes, particularly critical in data centre fit-out sequencing.
