Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a civil engineer to support project planning and delivery for buildings, infrastructure and data centre sectors. The role involves mentoring site engineers and junior team members while strengthening delivery practices.

On projects you will develop schedules, track progress and report to the project manager. You will coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines to prevent clashes and enable smooth sequencing.

• Develop and maintain detailed civil works programmes, method statements, and site logistics plans aligned with the overall project schedule
• Deputise for the Project Manager in day-to-day project planning and coordination meetings, ensuring continuity of delivery oversight
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to prevent design and construction clashes, particularly critical in data centre fit-out sequencing

Job description

The role also provides technical mentorship to site engineers and junior project team members, and contributes to strengthening the organisation's civil engineering and project delivery practices, tools, and standards across the building, infrastructure, and data centre sectors.
