Job summary

Jotun Indonesia is seeking an Apprentice to support the Laboratory team as a Laboratory Technician, Color Matcher to match and prepare product colors/samples to customer specifications. The role is based in Legok, Tangerang, Indonesia.

The ideal candidate may be a diploma graduate in chemical analysis or related field, with fresh graduates or up to 1 year of related experience, and skills in quality control, sampling, color matching, and MS Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory requests per regional strategy and Brand structure.
• Extrude and mill sample mixes for color matching.
• Prepare panels and compare with color standards.
• Create IFS product codes for new products.
• Maintain lab and equipment with 5S housekeeping.
• Daily calibration of laboratory devices and manage sample storage.
• Perform HSE, 5S and ODM per standards.

Job description

Jotun Indonesia now is seeking Apprentice to support Laboratory team as Laboratory technician, Color Matcher to match and prepare product colors/samples to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Processing of requests to the laboratory according to regional strategy and in compliance with the Brand structure

Extrude and Milling of sample mixes during the color matching/tinting of wet paint samples

Preparing panels and comparing them with color standards

Create IFS product codes for newly developed products to facilitate the timely despatch of customer-developed samples

Maintaining lab and equipment through efficient housekeeping and using the best 5S standard to improve CM lab

Daily calibration of Laboratory devices and retain sample storage management

Perform HSE, 5S and ODM according to standard

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least diploma graduates majoring chemical analyst or equivalent

Fresh graduates or At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field

Required Skill(s): quality control, sampling testing, color matching, Microsoft Office

Able to work in fast pace, follow the instruction in timely manner

Willing to be based on Legok, Tangerang
