Sun Shooters Restaurant is seeking a Kitchen Staff to support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking assistance, storage, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

The role covers basic prep, portioning, labeling, waste minimization, and teamwork in a fast-paced F&B environment. Training and career growth opportunities are provided, with meals and incentives where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Senior High School / Vocational School or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Staff, Cook, Commis, or Kitchen Helper is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, honest, and reliable.
• Able to follow SOPs and instructions accurately.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining cleanliness and quality.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle food ingredients according to operational requirements.
• Perform basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, weighing, portioning, and marinating ingredients.
• Assist with cooking and food production according to recipes, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Properly store and label food ingredients according to food safety standards.
• Monitor ingredient usage and assist with daily stock checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Clean and properly maintain kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
