Job summary

Darsyafii School in South Jakarta is seeking an experienced Kindergarten Principal to lead our Early Years program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to Sunnah values, and able to build a nurturing, globally minded learning environment for four-year-olds.

You will oversee the mastery-based curriculum, integrate Cambridge International standards and STEAM, mentor teachers and staff, and foster strong partnerships with parents to support student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, Psychology, or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in early childhood/kindergarten education.
• 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and international curriculum frameworks.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Kindergarten unit to align with the school's vision.
• Oversee mastery-based curriculum integrating Cambridge International standards, Sunnah Studies, and STEAM.
• Supervise and mentor kindergarten teachers and support staff.
• Foster the development of 'The Dars Star' character values in every student.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, staff and the wider school community.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for learners.
• Monitor student progress and well-being, and communicate with parents.
• Manage kindergarten administration including scheduling and resources.
• Collaborate with school leadership to support the continuity of the One Journey, From Four pathway.
