Job summary

J&T Cargo Indonesia (PT Global Yimi Cargo) is seeking a senior Accounting and Tax Manager to lead our Accounting & Tax functions and drive compliance with Indonesian regulations. The role focuses on monthly/annual closings, financial statements, and statutory reporting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of managerial experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian standards, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with English required and Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with proven managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and taxation.
• Experience with financial reporting, audit processes, and statutory reporting.
• Proficient in Excel; familiar with ERP systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and oversee the Accounting and Tax functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closing, financial statements, tax reporting, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders on accounting and tax matters.
• Lead and develop the Accounting & Tax team while driving process improvements, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation, with 10+ years of relevant experience and proven managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, taxation regulations, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with accounting/ERP systems.
• Good command of English is required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
