Job summary

CODE.ID in Indonesia is seeking a Manual/Automation Tester to ensure software quality across applications. You will develop and execute test scenarios, write test scripts from functional requirements, and report defects to the development team.

Data validation uses MySQL/SQL Server, with Python support for testing tasks as needed. You will collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues, prepare comprehensive test reports, and contribute to the STLC and overall quality

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Manual Tester and/or Automation Tester.
• Experience in financial institutions such as banking, insurance, or other financial services.
• Basic to intermediate Python programming.
• Familiarity with database queries (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience in manual or automation testing.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, defect management, and STLC.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and/or automation testing to ensure application quality and functionality meet business requirements.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and report bugs or defects to the development team.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and other relevant testing activities.
• Validate application data and results using database queries (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Utilize Python for testing, data preparation, or automation as needed.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
• Prepare test reports and documentation throughout the testing process.
