Job summary

PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia, Tbk (Tugu Insurance) seeks an experienced underwriting professional to manage facultative reinsurance backup processes in line with company targets and insured risk data. You will implement terms, arrange placements, and monitor reinsurer solvency while preparing capacity analyses and data-driven recommendations.

Role requires at least four years of experience, eligibility for A2IK/A3IK certification, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of work experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• A2IK or A3IK certification, or an equivalent qualification, preferred.
• Proficient in using computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Review the completeness and accuracy of facultative reinsurance slips and risk profile data to assess and develop facultative terms and conditions.
• Implement Outward Facultative Terms and Conditions to ensure the smooth execution of facultative reinsurance processes.
• Arrange facultative reinsurance placements to secure reinsurance support.
• Monitor the financial soundness of reinsurers engaged by the Company.
• Prepare relevant data and information to analyze the Company's capacity requirements.
• Conduct underwriting processes in accordance with the applicable TKO (Underwriting Operational Guidelines) to ensure accurate and optimal underwriting results.
• Submit requests for risk surveys to Underwriters when requested by reinsurers to verify consistency or identify discrepancies between the documented information and the actual physical condition of the insured objects.
• Calculate the amount of loss based on the terms and conditions of the applicable insurance policy to determine potential claim recovery in accordance with the policy coverage.
• Analyze, evaluate, and prepare revisions to the Outward Facultative TKO to align with market situations, conditions, and business needs.
• Analyze and prepare the terms and conditions of Facility Cooperation Agreements (PKS) or pre-underwriting agreements to develop business distribution channels in accordance with Underwriters' requirements.
• Prepare additional capacity arrangements to support product development based on Underwriters' requests.
• Prepare and develop proposed programs and project management initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct socialization sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance the literacy and understanding of clients, business partners, insured parties, and other stakeholders.
