Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya seeks a junior Environmental Engineer to assist in designing and monitoring environmental impact assessments and plans. You will conduct site inspections, collect data on air, water, soil and noise, and prepare monitoring reports to ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and company standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering/Science or related field, strong regulatory knowledge, and willingness to conduct fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations and mining-related legislation.
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques and analytical methods.
• Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic data analysis and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Fieldwork capability and willingness to conduct site assessments.
• Commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible mining practices.
• Preferred: 0-2 years of relevant experience in environmental management or mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental impact assessments and EMPs.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
• Collect and analyze data on air, water, soil, and noise levels.
• Prepare monitoring reports and maintain documentation.
• Support development and maintenance of environmental policies and SOPs.
• Assist in management of waste, water treatment, and pollution control systems.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Monitor and report on key environmental KPIs and metrics.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions related to environmental issues.
