Job summary

PT Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk is seeking an entry-level Mining Engineer to support short-term planning and monitor field progress on a Bunyu site in Kalimantan. You will assist with pit designs, oversee contractor activities, and help compile daily/weekly progress reports while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, readiness for site work, and solid communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of mining experience welcome.
• Basic knowledge of mine planning and mining operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and mining software is a plus.
• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work on a mining site in Bunyu, Kalimantan under roster.
• Strong commitment to safety and K3.

Responsibilities

• Design mine openings (pit designs), disposal areas, or haul roads on a short-term scale under senior supervision
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure that mining activities carried out by contractors or production teams align with the established technical design
• Collect field data to update pit status maps and compile daily and weekly progress reports
• Calculate and record production volumes for overburden and coal
