Job summary

PT. Anzawara Satria in South Kalimantan is seeking a Mineplan Engineer to support planning and optimization of open pit coal operations at our Angsana site.

You will prepare short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, run production scheduling, and perform fleet productivity analysis while ensuring compliance with RKAB targets and SMKP safety standards. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MineScape or Surpac are essential, with 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in mine planning, preferably open pit coal mining.
• Experience in creating short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans.
• Understanding of coal mining operations, mine sequencing, pit development, coal getting, and overburden removal.

Mineplan Engineer

Placement : Angsana, South Kalimantan.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in mine planning, preferably in open pit coal mining.
• Experience in preparing short term, medium term, and/or long term mine plans.
• Good understanding of coal mining operations, mine sequencing, pit development, coal getting, and overburden removal.
• Proficient in mine planning software such as MineScape, Surpac or equivalent.
• Able to perform production scheduling, fleet productivity analysis, and mine design calculations.
• Familiar with RKAB, mine production targets, stripping ratio, and mining parameters.
• Able to analyze and reconcile actual vs. planned mining performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Good understanding of mining safety standards and SMKP requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on a coal mining site and adapt to site operational requirements.

The Mineplan Engineer ensures that mining activities are executed according to a well planned, economically feasible, and operationally achievable mine plan.
The position directly contributes to achieving production targets, optimizing mining costs and equipment utilization, controlling stripping ratio, and maintaining efficient mine sequencing, while ensuring compliance with approved mining plans and safety requirements.
