Job summary

PT Indowire Prima Industrindo in Surabaya is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance planning and TPM initiatives across our production facilities. You will develop predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs, manage spare parts inventory, and collaborate with production, engineering and purchasing to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of TPM experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years work experience in related field
• Experience in implementing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
• Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics 101-1,000 employees

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance plans periodically
• Create maintenance and repair cost budgets
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Evaluate team performance periodically
• Implement TPM programs comprehensively in the work area
• Conduct root cause analysis on every equipment failure
• Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions
• Coordinate with production, engineering and purchasing departments
• Diagnose and repair damage to pneumatic, hydraulic, heating, control and other production equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation of all production equipment through routine preventive maintenance.
• Implement predictive maintenance programs using state-of-the-art technology (e.g. vibration analysis, thermography)
• Manage major repair projects, capacity upgrades, and new equipment installations.
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
