Job summary

PTESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk in Palembang seeks a Junior Field Operator to support LPG plant operations, monitor equipment, and execute startup and shutdown activities according to SOPs. You will contribute to production targets while upholding the highest safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, a willingness to work 12-hour shifts, and strong HSSE discipline.

Qualifications

Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Fresh graduates welcome; up to 2 years in plant operations preferred.
Basic understanding of process plant operations and safety practices.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts at the plant site.
Strong HSSE commitment and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Operate LPG plant facilities safely and efficiently per SOPs to meet targets.
Execute startup, normal shutdown, and emergency shutdown activities under supervision.
Monitor field equipment and process conditions, log data routinely.
Identify and report abnormal conditions and potential equipment improvements.
Prepare equipment for maintenance and coordinate with teams.
Follow supervision instructions to ensure safe operations.
Follow HSSE policies and report hazards, contribute to safety initiatives.
Comply with company policies and operational standards daily.
Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities in good condition.
Perform other duties to support operations and business goals.
