Job summary

PTESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk in Palembang is seeking a Field Operator to ensure safe and efficient LPG production. You will report to the Sr. Production Lead and bring expertise in start-up, shutdown, and HSE compliance to daily refinery operations.

The role requires 5+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, a relevant engineering degree, and strong English communication. Expect hands-on field duties, strict adherence to SOPs, and accountability to the Shift Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Requires D3/Bachelor’s in Chemical Eng or Oil & Gas Processing Engineering.
• At least 5 years of work experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Understanding of HSE policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refinery start-up activities per SOPs.
• Carry out refinery shutdowns in normal and emergency conditions.
• Follow orders relevant to refinery operations.
• Implement and report on HSE policies and hazards.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition and ready for use.
• Monitor field conditions and log operating data.
