Job summary

Seven Retail is hiring a Junior Interior Designer to develop outlet layouts and prepare detailed drawings, ensuring alignment with design standards and project requirements. You will work closely with PM/MEP teams, conduct site measurements, and manage multiple fast-paced projects within a retail and hospitality context.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, along with familiarity with Photoshop/Illustrator, and a strong understanding of materials and detailing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 2-4 years of interior design experience, preferably in retail, commercial, hospitality, clinic, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to produce detailed working drawings.
• Proficient in SketchUp or equivalent 3D software.
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator and/or other design software.
• Good understanding of interior materials, construction methods, furniture, ceiling, flooring, finishes and detailing.
• Able to read and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings.
• Able to conduct site measurements and site verification.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop outlet layouts based on approved requirements, space planning, and operational needs.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, wall details, furniture layouts, and other required details.
• Adapt existing design standards to different site conditions, outlet sizes, and building constraints.
• Maintain material specifications, finishes, furniture details, and design standards per outlet requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing site conditions before preparing or revising drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, MEP, contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties to resolve design and technical issues.
• Maintain updated drawings, design references, material specifications, and project documentation.
