Job summary

Seven Retail Group in Jakarta is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to translate requirements into functional outlet layouts and detailed drawings. You will work closely with project teams to meet space, aesthetic, and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, or related field.
• 2–4 years of interior design experience, preferably in retail, commercial, hospitality, or clinics.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and producing detailed working drawings.
• Proficient in SketchUp or equivalent 3D software.
• Familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and detailing.
• Able to read and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings.
• Able to conduct site measurements and verification.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop outlet layouts based on approved requirements, space planning, and operational needs.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, wall details, furniture layouts, and other required details.
• Adapt existing approved design standards to different site conditions, outlet sizes, and building constraints.
• Prepare and maintain material specifications, finishes, furniture details, and design standards in accordance with the approved outlet requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing site conditions before preparing or revising drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, MEP, contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties to resolve design and technical issues.
• Maintain updated drawings, design references, material specifications, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in interior design, preferably in retail, commercial, hospitality, clinic, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to produce detailed working drawings.
• Proficient in SketchUp or equivalent 3D software.
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator and/or other relevant design software.
• Good understanding of interior materials, construction methods, furniture, ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, and detailing.
• Able to read and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings.
• Able to conduct site measurements and site verification.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
