Somewhere Concepts in Bali is seeking a creative Junior Interior Designer to join our growing interior design team. The role involves supporting concept development, space planning, FF&E coordination, and presentation materials, with a focus on delivering accurate drawings and documentation.

Somewhere Concepts is a Bali-based interior design studio specializing in interior design. We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team.
Assist the design team in developing interior design concepts and design presentations.
Assist with space planning, furniture layouts, material and finish selections, and FF&E development.
Prepare and update 2D drawings, elevations, and design documentation.
Assist in preparing mood boards, material boards, furniture selections, and presentation materials.
Support the team with FF&E sourcing and coordination when required.
Coordinate with senior designers, suppliers, vendors, and other project team members.
Assist with site visits, design inspections, and installation/styling activities when required.
Ensure drawings, schedules, and project documentation are accurate and up to date.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in an interior design, architecture, or design studio is preferred.
Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
Good understanding of interior design principles, space planning, furniture, materials, and finishes.
Good understanding of technical drawings and basic interior detailing.
Proficient in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar.
Good visual sense and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Able to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to learn, take direction, and develop within a professional design studio.
Portfolio is required.
Experience working on residential, hospitality, or high-end interior projects.
Good knowledge of furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, and decorative items.
