Job summary

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking a Junior IT Network & System Administration (L1) in Jakarta. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, configuring routers, switches, and Fortigate devices, and maintaining network systems for security and performance.

You will monitor traffic, document incidents, help with Linux and Windows OS problems, and mentor L1 support engineers. A bachelor’s in CS or IT and 1–2 years of IT networking experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
1-2 years experience in IT networking or IT support.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching.
Experience configuring network devices (routers, switches).
Fortigate/Fortiswitch experience.
Experience with VPNs and firewall management.
GCP experience: CloudVPN, Interconnect, CloudNAT, CloudRouter.
Ability to analyze logs, captures, and monitor data.
Familiarity with load balancers.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network systems and devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic and logs, and diagnose bottlenecks or performance issues.
Ensure network security by implementing security policies and maintaining firewalls.
Create and maintain network diagrams, update technical documentation, and keep accurate records of incidents and configurations.
Escalate complex issues and collaborate with other IT teams for seamless operations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 support engineers.
Managing and troubleshooting non-complex OS Linux and Windows problems.
