Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Business Unit Head of Finance to lead end-to-end financial operations for a key Indonesia-based BU. You will drive GL, tax, treasury, budgeting, and reporting, while partnering with Sales and corporate finance to deliver insights that guide operations and strategy.

You will oversee a 7- to 8-person finance team, foster strong internal controls, and ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, PSAK, and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as Brevet A/B/C, CPA, CA are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role (Department Head/Finance Manager).
• Experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods or similar industries is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience across GL, AP, AR, tax, treasury, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience leading a team of 5–8 finance professionals.
• Good knowledge of PSAK and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Accurate).
• Strong cash flow forecasting and working capital management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GL, AP, AR, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly BU financial statements and P&L reports.
• Lead local tax compliance including VAT, withholding tax, CIT, and other obligations.
• Manage treasury functions: cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
• Monitor working capital, inventory, receivables, and payables.
• Partner with Sales to oversee credit limits, billing, and collections.
• Review distributor rebates, incentives, and other sales-related financials.
• Develop and monitor BU budgets with Corporate FP&A.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness.
• Act as finance liaison between BU and Corporate HQ, including Transformation.
