Job summary

PT Asix Global Industrial is seeking a capable IT Support professional to maintain local hardware and network infrastructure, resolve end-user issues, and manage VPN access for remote staff. The role covers desk-side and remote support, plus coordination with ISPs and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least two years in IT support or network administration, and proficiency with Windows/macOS, networking basics, and productivity suites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years in IT support, systems administration, or network administration.
• Experience in Desktop Support or Helpdesk in local businesses and manufacturing sites.
• Fundamental knowledge of OSI model, subnetting, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day IT support and maintain local hardware/network infrastructure.
• Resolve end-user hardware, software, OS, and printer issues within SLAs.
• Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and access to email and databases.
• Install, configure, repair, and track workstations, peripherals, and licenses.
• Execute backups, system patches/updates, and enforce IT security protocols.
• Diagnose and repair PCs/laptops, replace components, and configure Windows/macOS.
• Maintain and fix network and thermal printers, scanners, projectors, and IP phones.
• Set up remote VPN access for work-from-home staff; resolve issues via AnyDesk/TeamViewer.
• Manage Google Workspace and M365 accounts, passwords, licensing, and shared drives.
• Coordinate with ISPs, SaaS, and hardware vendors for repairs and SLAs.
