Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as IT Project Manager or Project Lead in software development.
• Hands-on experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Trello or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development projects within the insurance domain.
• Plan, track, and manage scope, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables.

• Facilitate project meetings, daily standups, sprint planning, and status reviews.

• Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and timeline impacts.
• Maintain project documentation, risk logs, milestones, and post-project reviews.

Plan, track, and manage project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables using tools like Jira.

Coordinate daily execution across cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and QA Engineers.

Facilitate project meetings, daily standups, sprint planning, and status reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and bottlenecks, developing effective mitigation plans.

Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear progress updates and executive reports.

Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, technical requirements, and quality standards.

Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and timeline impacts throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years experience as an IT Project Manager or Project Lead handling software development initiatives.

Hands-on project experience in the insurance or financial services industry is required.

Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong leadership, task prioritization, and risk management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight project deadlines.
