Job summary

Lautan Air Indonesia is seeking a senior legal leader to head the corporate legal function in Tangerang. You will draft, review, and negotiate critical agreements while managing litigation and compliance programs.

The role requires deep knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with external counsel and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Law with additional advantage for Master or Notary.
• Active advocate license from PERADI or KAI preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial role within a corporate legal department.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate law and contract law.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various business agreements (vendor, partnership, distribution, lease, commercial contracts).
• Represent the company in court and coordinate dispute resolution strategies.
• Ensure adherence to laws, manage corporate licensing, and internal compliance policies.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks and lead the internal legal team.

Job description

• Contract & Business Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate various business agreements (vendor, partnership, distribution, lease, commercial contracts).
• Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Represent the company in court, handle litigation and non-litication cases, and coordinate dispute resolution strategies.
• Compliance & Legalities: Ensure adherence to applicable laws, manage corporate licensing, legal documents (Deeds, NIB, OSS-RBA), and internal compliance policies.
• Risk Management & Leadership: Identify and mitigate legal risks, lead the internal legal team, coordinate with external counsel and government agencies, and report strategic legal issues to management.

Requirements :

• Bachelor degree in Law, where a Master degree or Notary degree serves as an additional advantage.
• Holding an active advocate license from PERADI or KAI is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience specifically in a managerial role within a corporate legal department.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian corporate law, commercial contracts, and court litigation proceedings.
• Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, high integrity, detail orientation, and full proficiency in English.
