Job summary

Bank Saqu is hiring a finance analyst based at our Head Office in Jakarta. The role focuses on budgeting, performance reporting, and treasury support, offering exposure to ALCO materials and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Basic understanding of accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting; knowledge of financial modelling is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
• Proficiency in Excel (sum, sumif, vlookup, pivot table).
• Basic understanding of data visualization and programming languages (Python, SQL, Tableau, Looker).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; good English (basic to intermediate).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong business acumen and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Bank-wide and related Business Performance Reviews for management, including profitability and KPIs.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Assist in budgeting and treasury reporting, including regulator-related documentation.
• Support in ad-hoc analyses and material preparation for ALCO meetings.

What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Prepare monthly Bank-wide and corresponding Business Performance Review for management, including profitability and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Assisting in Determining Bank-wide and corresponding Business Performance gap between actual performance against targeted, trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
• Updating the actual number for each Cost Driver on Monthly Basis
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements
• Assist in Administrative of Budget Custodian Task
• Providing the actual data and previous version budget
• Assist in preparing Treasury reports, monthly performance reports, market updates, along with ALCO meeting materials and corresponding minutes.
• Support compilation and analysis of financial information for counterparty monitoring and limit reviews.
• Monitor daily cash positions and assist in short-term liquidity tracking and forecasting.
• Support monitoring of key treasury ratios and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Assist in maintaining treasury-related documentation and reporting processes
• Strategic Planning: Supporting in Material Preparation of various Ad-Hoc Analysis
• Support Annual review on Contingency Funding Plan and corresponding Simulation
• Support in preparation of regulator surveys (Quarterly SPBO, etc)
• Act as a support in bookkeeping and update of relevant Policy and Procedure (eg: Updated ALCO TOR, Treasury Policy, Code of Conduct, etc)
• Process Improvement: Continuously suggest and execute process improvements (incl. Streaming Process)

What Is Required and What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply
• Basic understanding in accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting (knowledge of financial modelling will be advantage)
• Posses analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
• Proficiency in Excel (incl. but not limited to sum, sumif, vlookup, pivot Table)
• Basic understanding of Data Visualization and Programming Language (incl. but not limited to Phyton, SQL, Tableu, Looker)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Basic to Intermediate English in both verbal and written

• Willing to work from Head Office in Jakarta, Sudirman Area from 9AM WIB to 6PM WIB and/or occasionally visiting Tiang Bendera Head Office (Kota Tua Area)
