Job summary

PT METAAХ METAL INDONESIA is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to manage multi-entity accounting, VAT, and tax filing. You will record transactions in IDR and USD and support monthly closings.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least two years of related experience, with strong English communication and familiarity with Indonesian tax rules (VAT/PPN, PPh 21/23, PPh 4(2)). You will coordinate with tax consultants and vendors and prepare reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a similar position.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Good understanding of Indonesian taxation, particularly VAT/PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, and PPh 4(2).
• Experience handling multiple company entities (is an advantage).
• Good attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
• High level of integrity and responsibility, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills (must), Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

• Record, prepare, and reconcile corporate bank transactions in IDR and USD for multiple company entities.
• Monitor bank balances and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare Weekly Cash Flow Reports and Actual Expenditure Reports.
• Prepare payment recaps, financial reports, and other supporting financial and administrative documents.
• Monitor VAT and income tax obligations and coordinate with tax consultants regarding the company's tax position.
• Support the preparation and filing of monthly VAT returns (SPT Masa PPN) for multiple company entities.
• Monitor tax obligations, including PPh Article 21, Article 23, Article 4(2) and other applicable taxes.
• Support e-Bupot preparation and reporting.
• Prepare Payment Request Lists and process petty cash reimbursements.
• Monitor and record daily operational expenses, including fuel, electricity, water, and other operating expenses.
• Manage payment administration, vendor transfers, and fund disbursements.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents prior to payment processing.
• Coordinate payment arrangements with vendors, notaries, tax consultants, and other external parties.
• Maintain accurate and organized filing of financial and tax documents.
• Perform other finance-related duties and special assignments as required by management.
