Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain internal audit plans aligned with regulatory requirements
• Audit manufacturing operations, quality assurance processes and internal control systems
• Lead and supervise the internal audit team with guidance and performance management
• Identify audit findings and non-conformances; document in audit reports
• Assess effectiveness of quality assurance controls and recommend improvements
• Coordinate CAPA actions and monitor implementation; liaise with external auditors and regulators
• Prepare audit documentation and present findings to senior management

About the role

PT. Polygroup Manufaktur Indonesia is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our Quality Assurance & Control team. This is a full-time position based in Kendal Regency, Central Java, and offers a unique opportunity to drive audit excellence and compliance across our manufacturing operations. As Internal Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards whilst maintaining robust internal controls and regulatory compliance. This position is integral to our commitment to operational excellence and risk management within the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements
• Conduct independent and objective audits of manufacturing operations, quality assurance processes, and internal control systems
• Lead and supervise the internal audit team, providing guidance, training and performance management
• Identify audit findings, non-conformances and areas for improvement, documenting these in detailed audit reports
• Assess the effectiveness of quality assurance controls and recommend enhancements to operational procedures
• Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) raised from audit findings
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers and evidence to support audit conclusions
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders
• Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes and emerging audit methodologies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification in internal auditing, such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent recognised certification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in internal audit, quality assurance or risk management within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other relevant quality management systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies and supply chain operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify system weaknesses and propose solutions
• Proficiency in audit management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of local Indonesian regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous
• Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken
