Job summary

Stie Yai is seeking an engineering intern to provide technical guidance on radio communications systems across statewide and local markets. You will assist in developing responsive proposals, giving technical presentations, and planning two-way radio infrastructure including APCO, TETRA, and MotoTRBO platforms.

Expect collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams while gaining hands-on RF design exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Willingness to travel within Indonesia; travel expenses reimbursed.
• Minimum internship period of 3 months starting July 2026.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Provide technical advice on communications systems and products.
• Offer technical consultative advice to customers and distributors.
• Develop professional quality engineering responses for proposals and tenders.
• Conduct technical presentations and training.
• Design, plan, and engineer Two-way Radio communications system infrastructure solutions for statewide, local, commercial, and public safety markets, including VHF, UHF, 800MHz advanced two-way radio systems, trunking radio systems, digital radio systems (APCO, TETRA & MotoTRBO), Communications Control Centers, Signaling & Remote Control Systems, Wireless Mobile Data Systems, and Customized Computer Aided Dispatching Systems and Solutions.
• Identify and collaborate with potential local vendors to develop unique software application solutions such as Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS), Voice and Data Recording, Messaging System, and Network Management System.
• Develop strong in-depth vertical market knowledge (transportation, public safety, utility) to create unique solutions from the standard core platform for each market.
• Provide technical advice for existing systems and product updates or expansions.

About You

• A candidate pursuing a Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Team-focused, highly self-motivated, and eager to explore new approaches and technology.
• Good project management skills and ability to work independently on assigned projects.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Indonesia; business travel expenses will be reimbursed.
• Availability for a minimum internship period of 3 months, starting July 2026.

Preference is given to those with project implementation and RF engineering experience in design and planning of radio communications.
