Role Description

We are looking for 2 Senior Interior Designers & Quantity Surveyors (Interior) based in Jakarta who can both design and draft interiors, as well as handle cost estimation, BOQ, and cost control. The role requires balancing design creativity with commercial discipline to deliver luxury hospitality, upscale restaurants, or high-end commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

A. Interior Design + Drafting

Develop design concepts and layouts, mood boards, FF&E, finishes, and material palettes.

Produce detailed design plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings for site execution.

Create 3D visualizations or renderings to communicate designs.

Collaborate with site teams to ensure design intent is preserved during construction.

Review and adjust designs as needed to align with on-site conditions and client feedback.

B. Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and variation orders based on design and shop drawings.

Source and negotiate with material suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive rates.

Monitor project budget, track cost variances, and implement cost control measures.

Coordinate with procurement, site, and design teams to ensure materials and time schedules are aligned.

Produce periodic cost reports and assist in tender submissions and contract admin.

Requirements

A. Interior Design + Drafting

Have full working rights for Indonesia, based in Jabodetabek.

Minimum 5–8+ years experience in interior design, with experience in high-end hospitality or luxury commercial projects.

Proficiency in design & drafting software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max or similar; ability to generate shop drawings.

Strong portfolio that shows both creative concept work and detailed execution.

Excellent visual aesthetic sense, attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

B. Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control

Education in Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.

Experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, variation order management and cost tracking in interior or fit-out projects.

Strong skills with Excel (or other cost software), ability to understand material / supplier pricing, read and interpret design/drafting documents.

Good analytical thinking, budget sensitivity, and ability to negotiate with vendors and contractors.

Good communication skills; can coordinate across teams to align design, cost, and execution.
