Job summary

This full-time, on-site role is based in Tangerang and offers hands-on experience with space planning, proposals, FF&E coordination, and design documentation.

You will produce drawings, mood boards, and presentations under senior designers' guidance, participate in team meetings, and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to keep projects

Role Description

The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing functional and aesthetic interior concepts for various projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tangerang, where the intern will assist with space planning, preparing design proposals, selecting furniture and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) details. Daily tasks include creating drawings and visual presentations, helping with mood boards and material samples, and updating project documentation under the guidance of senior designers. The intern will also participate in team meetings, communicate with internal stakeholders, and help ensure that designs align with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design, including basic knowledge of design principles and concepts.
• Skills in Space Planning and the ability to support layout development for residential or commercial interiors.
• Understanding of Furniture selection and FF&E coordination to support cohesive design solutions.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, project teams, and suppliers.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Interior Design or related program.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic presentation tools.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow design guidelines and project instructions.
• Ability to work on-site in Tangerang and manage full-time internship responsibilities.
