Grab is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop high-quality, scalable backend applications powering insurance-related journeys across Grab apps. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Insurance, based in Indonesia, and contribute to end-to-end user journeys with ownership and autonomy.

Key tasks include writing clean code, collaborating across teams to design and ship features, and participating in on-call rotations to keep services reliable.

Qualifications

• Years of relevant experience in software development with Java or Go.
• Knowledge of relational databases and version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality scalable backend applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code for backend systems.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to design and ship features.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
