Job summary

KPMG Indonesia is expanding its Insurance Audit & Assurance team and is seeking experienced professionals at the Assistant Manager, Manager, and Senior Manager levels. Candidates should have strong external audit experience in the insurance sector, supported by a sound understanding of insurance products, industry practices, applicable regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of external audit experience for Assistant Manager; 6+ years for Manager; 8+ years for Senior Manager.
• Strong external audit experience in the insurance sector.
• Familiarity with OJK regulations and regulatory reporting for insurance, including Risk-Based Capital and solvency indicators.
• Experience with IFRS 17 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit engagements for insurance clients.
• Lead engagement planning, risk assessment, execution, completion and reporting.
• Review financial statements and significant accounting judgments.
• Address complex insurance accounting and regulatory matters, including IFRS 17.
• Evaluate internal controls and risks across insurance products and processes.
• Coordinate with client management, actuarial specialists and engagement stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear audit communications.
• Coach and develop engagement team members.
• Support delivery of high‑quality audits per standards and firm policies.
• Contribute to growth of the insurance practice.
