Job summary

PT Halley & Mellowes Australasia seeks an experienced Sales Engineer - Instrumentation to drive growth in Indonesia, focusing on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment for Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, and related sectors. You will identify opportunities, present solutions, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 2+ years’ sales experience, proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and willingness to travel across Jakarta and remote sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Major.
• Experience in sales for Electrical and Instrumentation equipment above 2 years.
• Experience in Flame, Gas Detector and Analyzer is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers and prospects.
• Technically and sales oriented.
• Customer-focused with attention to detail.
• Budget forecasting and understanding commercial terms.
• Willingness to travel is a MUST.
• Strong engineering principles and ability to communicate in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and expand existing market.
• Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual targets.
• Build and promote long-lasting relationships with customers and partners.
• Travel to remote customers when required.
• Drive sales, monitor performance, and take action to meet goals.
