Job summary

OBAYASHI-WIJAYA KARYA-JFE ENGINEERING-JAYA KONSTRUKSI JOINT VENTURE is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to join our EPC team on a wastewater treatment plant project in Jakarta. You will lead instrumentation design, procurement support, vendor coordination, testing, and commissioning throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with P&ID-based instrument lists, FAT participation, loop checking, and interface testing with SCADA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in instrumentation engineering for industrial plants.
• Experience with EPC projects preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Experience in wastewater treatment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation equipment lists from P&ID and process requirements.
• Prepare hook-up drawings and installation details.
• Coordinate technical requirements with Mechanical and Piping teams.
• Support instrumentation design and engineering activities.
• Prepare and review material requisitions and technical specifications.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and technical submissions.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in FAT for monitoring systems.
• Support installation verification and loop checking.
• Supervise testing and commissioning activities.
• Perform interface testing between instrumentation systems and SCADA.
• Support site acceptance tests and project handover activities.
